Angela Hamlin RGN
Managing Director & Founder The Draycott Group

Angela Hamlin spent 19 years at King Edward VII Hospital for Officers, 12 years as Deputy Matron. Draycott Nursing & Care is regarded as one of the leading professional service providers in the nursing and care industry. Angela was elected in April 2012 to serve as the Corporate Representative on the Council of the Independent Doctor’s Federation, which comprises of over 1,000 independent doctors.

Dr Crosby is one of the very few full-time Specialists in Sport and Exercise Medicine in the UK. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, and is the Medical Director of the Department of Sport and Exercise Medicine at BMI The Garden Hospital in North London.

Dr Crosby was Co-Founder and Secretary of The British Association of Thermal Therapy (BATH) and a member of the Medical Advisory Board of The International Spa Association (ISPA).

He consults at several London hospitals and clinics.

Dr Stephanie Kaye Barrett M.B.C H.B, M.D, FRCP
Consultant Physician and Rheumatologist

Dr Stephanie Kaye-Barrett is a consultant physician and rheumatologist with over sixteen years of consultant grade experience and expertise. She is referred to, both nationally and internationally, for the treatment of painful musculoskeletal disorders.

Dr Kaye-Barrett left the NHS in 2004 and set up the Chelsea Rheumatology Clinic. She also works at several London hospitals and clinics.

Tatler magazine Doctors Guide 2013 listed Dr Stephanie Kaye-Barrett in the UK’s top 250 best private doctors.

Dr Di Holdright MD, FRCP, FESC, FACC, MBBS, DA, BSc
Consultant Cardiologist, The Harley Street Clinic Diagnostic Centre

Dr Holdright has extensive experience in all aspects of adult cardiology, in particular the prevention and treatment of heart attack, the role of angioplasty and bypass surgery, and cardiac risk assessment and screening. She offers an extensive range of investigations and treatment for cardiac conditions including:

.High blood pressure .Raised cholesterol .Breathlessness .Palpitations .Dizzy spells .Chest pain

As former cardiologist to the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery she also has unique experience in the cardiac contribution to autonomic dysfunction, the assessment of cardiac risk in epilepsy and the investigation and management of cardiac causes of stroke.

Dr Holdright is in full time private practice and consults at the Harley Street Clinic Diagnostic Centre and the Chelsea Outpatient Centre. She was named as one of Britain’s 250 top consultants in Tatler’s 2013 Doctor’s guide.

Professor Justin Stebbing MD MA FRCP FRCPath PhD
Professor of Cancer Medicine and Oncology, and Consultant Oncologist

Professor Justin Stebbing is Professor of Cancer Medicine and Oncology, and Consultant Oncologist, at Imperial College and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He trained in medicine at Trinity College Oxford, where he gained a triple first class degree.

Professor Stebbing’s specialist expertise is in Breast, Gastro-Intestinal and Lung cancers. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Royal College of Pathologists, and chairs the World Vaccine Congress.

Mr John E Nixon

Mr John E Nixon is available for second opinions and to help establish the diagnosis and advise on the management of complex orthopaedic problems.

His speciality is Orthopaedic surgery and his clinical interests include knee surgery, lumbar spinal disorders, hip surgery and shoulder impingement syndrome.

Director of Natural Therapies

Elaine created the Department of Natural Therapies at Grayshott 20 years ago and continues to practice Acupuncture and Cranial Osteopathy at the Spa. Elaine studied Clinical Psychology, Osteopathy and Naturopathy also Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. Further studies in Cranial Osteopathy also included Paediatric Osteopathy. Other studies included Acupuncture, Tui-na massage, Oriental Head and Face Therapy and Face Reading. She studied Acupuncture at The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine with postgraduate studies in the Teaching Hospital and clinics in Hangzhou, China. Elaine has recently qualified as a Registered Nurse.

Stephanie Moore
Clinical Nutritionist, Weight & Health Coach, Eating Disorder Counsellor

Stephanie is a qualified nutritional therapist with a degree in Nutritional Medicine. She has a Masters degree in psychotherapy and counselling and belongs to several professional bodies, including the Royal Society of Medicine. Her interests are in the psychological and physical barriers to weight loss; adrenal fatigue and stress management; fertility issues and digestive disorders.

Karen Mitchell
Head of Natural Therapies

Karen has been Head of Natural Therapies at Grayshott for 10 years, training at the London School of Holistic Therapies, London School of Thai Massage, The Seed Institute and Helen Guinness School of Therapy. At Chiva Som in Thailand her learning continued in Ritual Body Therapies and the Thai philosophy of Mind and Body connection.

Adam Palmer
Executive Chef

Adam has worked in many top restaurants worldwide. He is dedicated to creating food that is delicious, healthy and nutritious, developing his techniques as Executive Head Chef at leading spas in the UK. Adam is Executive Chef at Grayshott and a consultant in the food industry; he has published several books and regularly appears on TV.

Ravi (V S RAVINDRAN)
Head of Fitness

Ravi worked for Fitness International as Programme Director moving to Malaysia to work for the Southern Pacific Hotel Corporation setting up and managing leisure complexes, sports clubs and activities. For nearly 20 years he has been Head of Fitness at Grayshott.
