Fueling your body with quality food and liquids can make a big difference to the way your body performs. It is essential to get a good balance of healthy proteins (meat, fish, eggs, cheese) with healthy fats (nuts, seeds, olive oil, avocados, oily fish, coconut) and complex, not refined carbohydrates (vegetables, fruit, wholegrains).

Carb-loading before exercise is really not necessary unless you are doing extreme endurance exercise.

Protein is essential for building and repairing muscle tissue and fats help to fuel and protect the body, so don’t just focus on carbohydrates when it comes to fuelling your body for exercise.

Coconut water is a highly effective and natural way to rehydrate your body after intense exercise.
