It is with a heavy heart that I write to inform you of the permanent closure of Grayshott Spa, with immediate effect.

The impact of the global Covid-19 outbreak and a second lockdown further restricting travel means that, unfortunately, the business can no longer be considered viable. The future of trade is currently looking uncertain for the future, and despite returning guest loyalty, closure has become inevitable. Our shareholders are reviewing and weighing options going forward however steps are being taken to cease trading.

For guests who have deposits with us, our Reservations team will cancel your booking automatically and we will contact you by telephone or email as soon as possible. We will begin the process of administration and approvals for refunds and we will prepare these for approval as quickly as possible. Deposit refunds may take approximately one month, based on our experience with the banks during the last lockdown.

For guests who have Gift Vouchers or Gift Certificates that were still valid as of March 23, 2020 – we ask that you contact us via email to We will need a photo of the full front of the voucher or certificate, clearly showing the registration number, together with the name and contact details of both the purchaser and the recipient. We will then verify against our system records. We will also require the details of the original means of purchase for refund. We regret that charity donation and complimentary promotional vouchers will not be eligible for refund.

We are proud of the work we have done and knowledge we have shared on the path towards improving the health and wellbeing of our guests. The Grayshott team were always inspired by the knowledge that we helped so many and that Grayshott became a special place for our loyal guests, so we hope that all our guests are left with fond memories and the knowledge they need maintain good health and wellbeing through life.
