Grayshott has teamed up with Harley Street's London Sleep Centre to devise a programme which helps guests who have short or long-term sleep problems. Using modern technology to help with diagnosis, guests will be screened for underlying disorders and given specific treatment advice during their stay in one-to-one consultations with well known Sleep Consultant Dr Ebrahim and Sleep Counsellor Elizabeth Scott.

What's involved?

This long weekend involves a through assessment, diagnosis, specific treatment and advice on different techniques to combat sleep problems, nutrition and fitness analysis and supportive natural therapies to aid relaxation.

This programme is suitable for:

Those who are concerned about a short or long-term sleep problem, whether that relates to having trouble getting to sleep or waking up, irregular sleep patterns or waking and not feeling refreshed.

Before arrival at Grayshott, guests will be asked to fill in an in-depth questionnaire and will also be provided with an Actimeter, a watch-like device that monitors sleep-wake patterns over an extended period of about 2 to 4 weeks.

The data from the Actimeter is downloaded and yields information on the overall nature of your sleep-wake schedules and can be used to assist in making a diagnosis. Most sleep conditions will be able to be helped immediately during your spa break, but if a more serious underlying issue is diagnosed the guest can be referred for further treatment at the London Sleep Centre.
